Main Street, Norwich, NY 13815 The Head Start Program has found a way to respond to the increased need of families for full day full year Day Care. Chenango County Head Start is part of a select group of Agencies who have committed to working with Family Day Care providers to provide Head Start quality services in the Day Care setting. This option will allow families families to choose a participating provider with the assurances and support of the Head Start Program. The Day Care Providers are given assistance in obtaining and and maintaining the Day Care License, training on Developmentally Appropriate Practice and access to materials, books and equipment. Head Start families accepted to the Family Day Care option will be required to receive childcare subsidies and the Program will be responsible for paying the family share of the day care costs. |

Email: childcare@charitiesccdo.org The Child Care Connection acts as the Child Care Resource and Referral Agency for Otsego County. Parents who are looking for care may call the office or visit our website for free info & referrals. The Child Care Connection assists parents in finding care that fits their needs. The Child Care Connection website includes links to other resources for child care info. In addition, the Child Care Connection recruits new child care providers for Otsego County and helps with all aspects of the registration process, including acting as registrar and performing monitoring visits and inspections. The Child Care Connection acts as the enrollment agency for Legally Exempt Child Care providers in Otsego County, in addition to sponsoring the Child and Adult Care Food Program to regulated home-based providers in Delaware, Otsego and Schoharie Counties. |
